Reader: Tell me your wildest dream?
JJ: My wildest dream would have to be that point in life where I’m financially stable. Where I’m making money from doing the very thing I love the most, Writing. I find my self at complete peace when I am writing. It’s the most rewarding thing on this very planet to me. It’s hard for me to have a regular job, it’s very stifling.
I want to live in a modest home on the water in New Jersey with acres upon acres. There won’t be many problems with the house, there is the typical pipe freezing or time for a new washer. I will have an emergency stockpile to last me ten years+ and my cabinets? My cabinets will never be empty. If they get a little low, I will have more than enough to go to the store and get whatever I need at my leisure.
Free time won’t be a matter of question, it will be completely natural. Traveling to Florida and California often to visit friends without having to worry about how I’m going to purchase a plane ticket, or room and board. Owning a 1969 fully restored Chevrolet Chevelle, Cherry red with all black interior. Even though it’s fully restored, when something happens to it I have the finances to take it to a mechanic. There will be an old pontoon in my boathouse. When I’m not writing and I would like to share my time with my friends and family, I can do that.
We can go on the boat, and when we come back to my house that is paid off, we can all sit around the fire and have a few laughs. I will be able to enjoy life. I won’t have the stress of a typical 9-5 continuously wearing me down. My husband will be perfect. He won’t be society perfect, but he will be perfect to me. Both of us I will be in good health on most days having the energy to take on daily tasks with not just ourselves but our children. Not only will we have the energy, life will be enjoyed. If I have any pertinent answer to this question, this is it.
