Saturday was the second pre-season game of the year and I have to say that my boys are doing a complete 360 when it comes to formation. We won of course. I know it’s only preseason but it makes all the difference when the season starts if we’re not all in line together. My television decided it didn’t want to record my scheduled recording for the day. I have the Packers app on my phone and I follow them on Instagram so thankfully I was able to get a play by play without watching it.
If stereotypes were real in my world, I would be a Detroit Lions fan. I just can’t support a team that I don’t think is a very good team. I’ve been a Packers fan as long as I can remember, even before the mouthwatering sight of Aaron Rodgers. Who I hear is single by the way? Someone care to confirm this for me and send him my way? I wouldn’t mind. I’m a Green Bay Packer fan for life. I can’t wait for the season to start. Much of this will entail me yelling at Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb through my TV until they hear me (or until I believe they do) and things start to turn around in our favor. And for the most part, it does.
Sunday was an A typical lazy day filled with reading and a four-hour nap in between followed by 90 Day Fiance and Impractical Jokers to get me off to sleep again. I’m currently reading The Wedding Pact series by Denise Grover Swank. It’s so good. She’s a very talented writer, to say the least, she definitely keeps me on my toes. I’m late in discovering her as an Author but better late than never.
Now it’s Monday, the start of the week. I have a very love-hate relationship with Monday seeing as how I don’t work the weekends. It’s more love now that I work solely from home but it still requires me to get up and be productive which is something I just don’t want to do on Monday’s. I want to stay in bed with a good book, a hot cup of tea, surrounded by pillows and blankets. Is that too much to ask for? I Think not. I did, however, get about an hour in of reading before my two-hour nap and then proceeded to make a huge pot of homemade jambalaya. I will now be eating it for the next two days with no complaints.
Here we are Tuesday, how you serve little purpose in the week. You’re not quite Wednesday so you’re not in the middle but you’re not Monday so you’re not the first day of the week. You’re just another day. With football season right around the corner, it’s safe to say the seasons are slowly starting to change from summer to fall. I am in Michigan so that really doesn’t mean anything. Yesterday was summer, tomorrow could be winter.
But today it’s muggy out. It’s cloudy. It’s probably going to rain giving me the opportunity for day three of nap time. I’ve had very little coffee this morning so a nap sounds perfect right about now. Having a coffee pot that’s on a timer or another person in the house that makes coffee before you is great. But if there is one thing I hate first thing in the morning it’s three-hour old coffee.
