The windows have been open, I have two comforters on my bed, and apple cinnamon wax in the warmers. That pretty much completes my life at this moment. That and the fact that I don’t have to get up and put pants on to go to work. No pants day are the best. I absolutely love Sunday’s. And I love Fall. To me, Fall is the most amazing time of year. It’s like Christmas to me when Fall starts.
I’ve been looking for a house near Red Bank for the past couple weeks. No luck yet, but I’m still hopeful. (If you know an awesome Realtor send them my way.) I have a month before I leave. Although that seems like so little time to get everything done that I need to get done. And it is.
I mean I’m not a procrastinator by any means. But I do get overwhelmed easily. So between working, house hunting, family matters, and taking a trip to NYC, I guess you can say I’ll be pretty busy the next month and a half. Probably longer. Let’s see how long it takes me to completely move from Michigan to New Jersey.
I’m very excited. New things are happening. Big things.
I cannot even describe the pain I’m feeling after last weeks football game. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone and is out for the season. I still have not come to terms with this. Not that I don’t have faith in Brett Hundley – I mean he is a packer. I just don’t think he’s ready. I think he thinks he is ready. But being a packer is more than just playing a game. Aaron is a franchise QB for God’s sake.
Brett has a lot to learn. Who knows maybe he will learn it this season at least, that’s what I’m hoping for. We made the mistake of messing up last year I just want us to make it to the playoffs this year. Is that too much to ask? Look at me, getting all worked up about something that is beyond my control.
On another note, I’ve been getting new books every week from Penguin Publishing and this week I started The Fifth Petal by Brunonia Barry. The book is about the spooky town of Salem filled with witches. I’m not finished with it yet, I’m only on part three. So by tomorrow, it will be finished. But I have to say this is definitely a book worth reading.
