I cannot stress this enough: Just because someone is different than you DOES NOT make them any less of a person. And Just because someone is deaf, doesn’t mean they can’t hear you. If there is one thing I hate, it’s to see people discriminate. The truth of the matter is, we are all different. But we are all equal. We are all unique and beautiful in our own ways. No one is better than anyone and no one is more important than anyone else.
I personally, found myself relating to some of the things that Sean described he went through. From being bullied to being depressed, from being cheated on, to not being able to accept my failures. But at the end of the day, one thing remains true, all of these things are apart of life. They can either make you or they can break you. The question is, what are you going to let it do to you? I choose to let it make it. It already broke me and I decided I wasn’t going back down that road.
I’m tired of hearing all of these negative things. I want to hear about all the good happening in the world. I want to see more people like Sean. People that want to inspire one another and bring the good out of them. This world is becoming a horrible destructive place because that’s all we know. But it doesn’t have to be that way. One by one, we can make a difference.
