I have recently been reunited with my beloved cousin Jenna. Nothing could make me happier right now. She’s the best. Jenna’s mom is my second cousin, she and her sister are my third cousins, and her niece Ashlynn is my fourth cousin. That’s four generations of cousins. Four amazing generations.
Out of the dozens and dozens of cousins I have (literally), she’s my favorite. At one point in time, we were like best friends. But Jenna’s in the military so I don’t get to see her very often. She’s got a such a cute little life that she’s built for herself. I’m so deeply proud of my little Jenna bean. By proud I mean I am honored to be her big cousin. Which is huge if you knew the family that I come from.
I have watched her grow from a young girl into a blossoming young woman. She’s motivated, courageous, smart, and beautiful. She gives me the motivation I need to be a better person. Life would be so boring without her, I am beyond grateful to have her in my life. I can’t say the same about the rest of the family but I’m glad I can say it about you.
Thank you, Jenna, for being my “number 1″ while we were growing up. Thank you for not judging me too harshly on the decisions I make. Thanks for standing by my side when I felt alone and for always being there to pick me up when I’m done. Thank you for always making me a priority no matter what you have going on. And finally, thank you for being here for me after all these years.
