Since the first time I saw a tiny house, I’ve wanted to live in one. I became instantly obsessed with them. I still am. If I had the funds to obtain one (which I’m working too hard to achieve in my opinion it should just fall into my lap) I would have my own tiny house. But recently thanks to YouTube, my obsession has a slight shift. Though I still want my tiny house, I’m now also contemplating van life.
Van life just makes so much sense to me right now. Especially since backpacking this past summer. It’s like this freedom I just can explain. You have to experience it to know what I’m talking about. And I encourage you to do so. Traveling is one of the best things you can do in this life. We don’t have that much time, why not experience as much as you can while you’re here?
My obsession with van life really began when I found Eamon & Bec on YouTube. I love their channel – go watch them if you have a few minutes. I promise you they will brighten up your day every single time. They are a Canadian couple who lives full time in their converted Sprinter van while they run their tea business Chiawala.
Just thinking about the freedom of wandering the world while I work just makes my heart burn with desire. I mean, what more could one ask for really? I’m still not too sure that van life is the way I want to go because I still want my tiny house. But I’m really really leaning toward it. Maybe I’ll just have both. I like that option.
I don’t know about you, but to me, that sounds like the perfect path of least resistance.
