Hours spent celebrating my birthday: 15

I’m a little late on this week’s post because my birthday was Wednesday. The older I get, the longer it takes me to prepare and the longer it takes me to recover. But I’m here now, all is well. Last year at this time I was celebrating my birthday on the good ole Jersey Shore.
This year, We’re in wonderful Key West (before you say anything, it’s slowly growing on me) and it was probably one of the better birthday’s that I’ve had. I went out with a couple of friends despite the cold 50-degree weather none of us Floridians can handle.
We went wandering around on Duval, drank a little too much, went to dinner and had great conversations. What else could a girl ask for? Who am I kidding? I can think of a million things to ask for but I won’t be that pretentious.
I’m honestly just thankful that I have good friends who celebrated the day with me. My friends really are some of the greatest people in the world. All of them near and far. I don’t know where I would be today without them. I am grateful. They made the day, per usual.
Nonetheless, what I’m really trying to say is… this year’s birthday was great. Turning twenty-five is great. Life is great. 2020 will be great.
