I haven’t been feeling my best as of lately. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on. I have a lot of anxiety and it’s making me feel ill. Or maybe I just am. I’d prefer not to think that but again, I’m just not sure what’s going on with me.
I haven’t been writing on here as much as I’d like to because my focus is entirely somewhere else. Somewhere it shouldn’t be, but somewhere else nonetheless. So today, I wanted to force myself to write this week’s post. I sat down on my bed and pulled out my phone until I just started writing.
It’s a weird feeling because I don’t have a problem writing in my journal each day. But sometimes I just don’t feel like publishing my thoughts to the world. Ya know? Sometimes it’s more draining than fulfilling when you don’t feel quite like yourself.
I’ve been trying to do everything I can to make sure I feel better. From soup and essential oils to meditating and drinking celery juice. I even started listening to sound baths at night (Healing Vibrations is the Youtube Channel I listen to). For those of you who aren’t familiar with sound baths, it’s a meditative experience that works by using sound vibrations to heal the body.
The first time I ever heard about sound baths was when I watched Man on the Moon. Though they turned out to be ineffective in the movie, they are really relaxing. And they do seem to be helping with my brain tingles and my anxiety. So I figured, what have I got to lose?
I’m also starting to drink celery juice again. It’s hard to juice every day when you move around a lot but I know it’s worth it in the end. And Ideally, it will help me start to feel better again. I know that when I was drinking it last year, I felt a million times better than I do right now. So we shall see what happens.
